The 2009 Humboldt County Music and Arts Summit is coming August 29th-30th to the beautiful Veterans Park Field. This gorgeous space is located immediately on the Trinity River in scenic Willow Creek. This event will feature a full weekend lineup of integrated arts, workshops and two stages with full day line ups of live music. One of the founding ideals for this event is focusing the resources of the local community. The event boasts an organic and local kitchen, the best in local crafters, artisans, and vendors presenting their summer achievements in their associated crafts. The event is being brought to the community as part a sustainable and Eco-Conscious production. The concert will incorporate a solar powered stage by Sustainable Waves and organic produce from Willow Creek Farms located immediately next to the festival grounds. The event is founded in the spirit of Love, Music, Arts and Consciousness and plans to provide am educational and entertaining experience like none that Humboldt has seen before, producing a low impact, sustainable experience that will leave the community both more educated and conscious to current ecological issues and solutions.
