Danyavaad describes their sound as World Fusion Rock.  They draw inspiration from Middle Eastern, Indian, Celtic, and classical music. These exotic flavors are channeled through a songwriting filter of classic rock and spiced with the improvisational nature of Gypsy Jazz.  

If you listen closely, you can hear shades of artists as diverse as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ravi Shankar, 3 Hurel, Taraf De Haiduks, Django Reinhardt, Johann Sebastian Bach, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, T.REX. and Queen.

The group is comprised of Greg Vaughan on vocals, electric sitar, saz, mandolin, and guitar - Gabriel Penix on percussion and vocals - Sandy Bagri on fretless bass - and Oren Shoval on violin.
